For a trip into Whistler's history, visitors are welcome to explore the BC Museum of Mining, which depicts Whistler mining life in the early part of the 20th century. Also of interest is West Coast Railway Heritage Park, host to a wonderful collection of vintage British Columbia railway equipment.
