Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts Appoints Ivan Lee As General Manager Of Pan Pacific Singapore and Vice President, Area Operations

Singapore, 1 April 2008 – Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts announces the appointment of Ivan Lee as the General Manager of Pan Pacific Singapore, and Vice President, Area Operations with effect from 1 April 2008.
Ivan takes over the reins from Scott Swank as the new General Manager at the Pan Pacific Singapore and will be managing the award-winning hotel and steering its continued success globally. Scott will focus on his role as Senior Vice President of Operations at the Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts corporate office. Ivan’s role as Vice President, Area Operations will be progressively undertaken as Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts grows.
A seasoned professional with more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, Ivan has held several senior leadership positions with a number of hotel companies. Ivan was formerly the Chief Executive for Sino Group’s hotel division and the Chief Executive Officer of The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore. He was most recently the Vice President and General Manager of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
Having worked in the hospitality industry in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore, Ivan has accumulated substantial international experience and expertise. Ivan is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) graduate of Hotel Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver, Canada. He studied Business Administration, Hotel Management and Restaurant Management at the University of Regina in Canada, University of Hawaii’s School of Travel Industry Management and Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration respectively.
