Each of our North American Pan Pacific properties strive for innovation and leadership in the areas of operational efficiency and the extension of product life cycle through the PanEarth program’s vision and philosophy. The culture created at each property is one of supporting local communities through donations and volunteer time. Day to day practices of the PanEarth program work towards minimizing our overall impact on the environment.

At Pan Pacific, we are committed to providing genuine care, unique innovation and having customized services available. Our PanEarth program helps to enhance the experience that our guests encounter at all of our North American properties.

Global responsibility in action

  • Guest suites contain recycle bins for paper, newspaper, plastic bottle, glass, cans and compostable brown bags for food waste
  • Water efficiencies: Aerators on all faucets maximize and streamline water flow
  • Donated amenities: Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are given to Pearl’s House, a women’s shelter in Squamish
  • Enbala Power Networks Hybrid System
  • Salt water hot tubs and pools
  • Printing cartridge recycling program
  • Low emission paint which is 90% latex based: Eliminating VOC toxins to guests and associates
  • Green cleaning products: Creating a healthier, toxin -free guest experience and associate work environment
  • LED lighting, Compact Florescent Light bulbs (CFL’s) and special collection to dispose of them properly
  • Composting program: Food waste from Dubh Linn Gate Pub and guestrooms ( Brown bag program) is collected and repurposed as fertilizer for plants, food crops and garden landscapes
  • Supporting Alternative Fuel: Recycle vegetable cooking oil by providing to local bakery to sustain their fleet of vehicles
  • Community Partnerships supporting environment and community: Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Pearl's House, Whistler Adaptive Ski Program, Whistler/Blackcomb Employee Housing program, Whistler Community Service Society
  • Associate Engagement: Collect feedback and input from internal team to enhance our practices and operations
  • Transportation: Energy efficient Hybrid SUV for guest shuttle
  • Guest room Thermostat Interface: Conserves energy by automatically adjusting the room temperature to un-occupied setting when guests check out
