Escape Route Presents The Rubble Creek Classic Run

The Rubble Creek Classic is an early morning recreational trail run that has been going every year since 1985. Taking runners up a grueling 1338m climb, runners proceed along the Helm Creek Trail through Cinder Flats giving them epic views of the Black Tusk and down to Garibaldi Lake. The race continues through Taylor Meadows ending with the final knee jarring decent of 1781m to finish at the Rubble Creek parking lot. It is a long run (24k) but the scenery is so spectacular you will not mind the work!

The Whistler Holiday Experience

This indoor family fun zone provides entertainment for kids and parents alike during the holiday season. Kids can enjoy a mini putt course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts and video games free for 15 days over Christmas and New Year. Parents are catered for too - they can relax in the lounge area and enjoy a coffee or hot cocoa while the kids play. Sigge's P'ayakentsut Cross Country Ski Event

The Sigge’s P’ayakentsut is an event for all ages and all levels of cross country skiers. Traversing Olympic legacy trails as well as old growth forests, the loppet offers participants a chance to train, to meet new friends, to enjoy the rugged wild beauty of the Callaghan Valley and to enjoy a what is truly a sport for life – cross country skiing. This year the event will take place over two days with the main loppet on Saturday and the kids tournament and youth ski cross on Sunday.
