Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta supports Earth Hour 2013
Jakarta, 23 March 2013 – In support of the global movement to raise awareness for the impact of climate change on the Earth, Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta joined millions of individuals, companies and countries around the world to commemorate Earth Hour on Saturday, 23 March, 8.30 to 9.30pm.
At 8.30pm sharp, all the main lights in the hotel were switched off for one hour. On the hotel’s exterior, the symbolic Earth Hour “60+” mark was displayed as a show of our support for Earth Hour with selected room lights being switched on.
Represented by our Care Champions under the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta also invited guests to participate in this effort to make it a success. Our Care Champions gathered at the lobby to encourage guests to light up candles which had been arranged to form the “60+” symbol. After the candles were lit, our guests, management staff and Care Champions took a photograph together and everyone received a specially-produced “60+” chocolate as a souvenir.
Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta is proud to be a part of this global mission to save the Earth, as a demonstration of our commitment to the environment.
