The new Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo bags three prestigious industry awards
The joint hotel and serviced suites property has been named "The Most Influential Brand in the Yangtze River Delta Area" and "The Most Well-Rounded Hotel" within six months of its opening.
Ningbo, China 20 January, 2013 – The new year at Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo got off on a flying start with its recent win of "The Most Influential Brand in the Yangtze River Delta Area" (长三角最具影响力品牌酒店) at the fourth World Travel Awards (非常之旅2012世界旅行大奖) held in Shanghai on 9 January.
Organised by Oriental Morning Post, one of Shanghai's leading newspapers, the annual awards ceremony recognises the crème de la crème of the airline, attraction and hotel industries and sets the benchmark for each trade within the tourism sector. Award winners were selected based on a stringent online voting system as well as appraisals and recommendations from leaders of various sectors associated with the hospitality industry.
"The award is an outstanding recognition, especially for a new player in the Ningbo hospitality scene. This shows that the Pan Pacific brand is growing strongly in China and winning the hearts and minds of more Chinese customers," said Chris Ong, General Manager of Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo.
Last November, the joint hotel and serviced suites development also edged out strong competition from thousands of hotels in Greater China to be crowned "The Most Well-Rounded New Hotel" (最具综合实力新开酒店) at Grand Hotel's third annual Stylish Hotel Awards (风尚奖).
Less than a month later in December, Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo was again named "The Most Well-Rounded Hotel" (最佳酒店业态之物) at Shanghai Morning Post's first Travel Industry Awards (问鼎2012旅游行奖), reaffirming its comprehensive range of accommodation and amenity offerings.
Widely regarded as the most influential newspaper in the city, Shanghai Morning Post has a daily circulation of 2.4 million. The inaugural awards ceremony marks the paper's expansion of its influence into the hospitality sector, giving readers its take on the industry's best.
Despite the numerous choices of luxury hotels available in Ningbo, Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo is the only property in the city to receive these ‘Most Well-Rounded Hotel' honours, testament to the strong support it has garnered from the public within the short span of six months of its opening.
"A well-rounded hospitality complex offers guests the feeling of homeliness with the convenient availability of premium amenities, facilities and service. I believe that it has been our ability to provide guests with discreet, elegant and personalised service that has made Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites stand out from among the crowd," added Chris.
Officially opened on 28 August 2012, Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo is one of the key landmarks in the new central business district of Ningbo, the Eastern New Town. Spanning over 29,000 square kilometres of land, Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Ningbo is primely located amongst commercial and governmental buildings, creating a serene sanctuary amidst the bustling city.
