Pan Pacific Melbourne is currently looking for a dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our dedicated team in achieving our commercial, service and cultural goals. The successful applicant will be an energetic, personable, and a natural team player with the ability to foster a strong culture, inspire teams and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Oversee and manage the Hotel’s operational departments. 
• Foster strong communication with the hotel’s functional leaders to support the execution of the hotel strategy. Engage the on-site functional teams in proactive, positive communication to drive the needs of the hotel. 
• Ensure guest services are effectively and efficiently delivered, uphold quality standards and promote service distinctiveness while maintaining cost effectiveness in resource utilization. 
• Play an active role in guest service, particularly by engaging with VIP clients and supporting service recovery situations. 
• Collaborate with the Country General Manager to address key property issues, such as capital projects and service standards.
• Continuously enhance the skills and capabilities of associates through coaching and professional development.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a senior hotel leadership role, preferably with a strong Food & Beverage background with an aspiration to become a hotel General Manager. 
• Demonstrated ability to inspire others, build culture and lead with empathy. 
• Exceptional guest service skills with a passion for representing the hotel, combined with the ability to proactively and authentically engage with guests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
