The Role

Position summary statement:


To provide serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons. To make classic drinks and create new recipes for cocktails. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that their bars run smoothly and efficiently


Primary Responsibilities:


  • To greet and welcome all guests at Club 5.
  • To ensure bars are well-stocked with glasses, garnishes, drink mixes and ice.
  • To make syrups, infusions, tinctures, mixed drinks, and cocktails of all types fulfilling customer orders.
  • To engage and entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking to customer about spirits and offering trivia and history about various alcohols to keep customers engaged and enjoying themselves.
  • To responsible for crafting original beverage menu items and designing new, innovative cocktails using the ingredients that are already supplied by the company for which they work
  • To be familiar with the expectation of regular guests.
  • To be aware of all daily promotional activities in the Hotel.
  • To be aware of all VIP arrivals and departures.
  • To attend to all complaints by guests, as and when required.
  • To be aware of the on-going development and related issues in the tourism industry.
  • To build rapport with existing and new customers and create a CRM – Customer Relations Management to establish an effective database system.
  • To undertake any other reasonable assignment by the Restaurant, Bar and Events Manager, as and when required.

Talent Profile

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): bartending, customer service, developement, hospitality, leadership, Teamwork, Ability to work creatively, beverage menu, promotional activites
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
