The Role

Based at PARKROYAL on Pickering, Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as a Hotel Ambassador!

We will need this talented individual to:

  • Be able to pick-up calls and handle situations quickly and accurately with quality customer service level
  • Be able to understand and handle guest’s requests tactfully and smoothly
  • Be knowledgeable in basic information of the places of interests within and around the Hotel premises
  • Absolutely familiar with room amenities, furniture layout and rate structure
  • Assist with basic request such as invoice, in-house restaurant enquiries, operating hours of the facilities and outlets in the Hotel, Lost and Found and basic e-mail enquiries
  • Ensure that guests receive the most cordial attention whenever they contact ONE CONNECT
  • Be knowledgeable on local places of interest, commercial centers, restaurants, conventions, cultural activities, airlines and other public transport schedules
  • Work closely with all hotel staff to provide the guests with friendly, courteous and efficient personal services at all times.
  • Be fully aware of the Emergency procedures
  • Be able to handle computer terminals at ONE CONNECT and Front Office respectively
  • Ensure that there are adequate supplies of forms and stationeries
  • Identify training needs and conducts training or buddy system for new hires in ONE CONNECT
  • Ensure that the workstation is neat, tidy and presentable at all times
  • Assist with any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management

Talent Profile

  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities
  • Good communications skills, with good written and oral skills in English Language
  • Secondary education with relevant work experience as a telephone operator/ a call centre agent.
  • Able to perform shift duties
