PARKROYAL Parramatta are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our enthusiastic team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this is a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in a supportive, fun and customer focused environment.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Director of Sales
  • Managing existing clients, whilst proactively canvassing for new business opportunities
  • Selling to the corporate, consortia, leisure and MICE markets
  • Actively promoting, generating leads, and cross selling across the Pan Pacific Hotels Group portfolio and work with team members to maximise opportunity
  • Working collaboratively with National and Global Sales Teams in selling all facets of Pan Pacific Hotels Group including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other incremental revenue.
  • Driving our success in achieving corporate sales goals by generating new business and growing existing business to achieve budgets
  • Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategies
  • Actively promote the hotel at networking events in the region, developing strong relationships and creating partnerships to further increase brand awareness.
  • Develop strong community and public relations by maintaining property participation in local, regional and national tradeshows and client events

Talent Profile

  • Experience in executing the sales function for 4 or 5 star properties
  • Results orientated and motivated personality 
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment of successful hospitality professionals
  • Exposure to a variety of markets including corporate, MICE and government segments
  • Proven track record in generating revenue within a corporate sales function
  • Experience in managing key client relationships
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and obtain "buy-in" from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Immaculate grooming & presentation
