Restaurants and Bars
Our culinary team source 95% of ingredients locally within the UK, to ensure our carbon footprint is kept to a minimum. Having authentic ingredients in our recipes as not to compromise on flavour is important to us, so we are working with Nurtured in Norfolk to grow special Asian ingredients including fish mint, locally here in the UK. Our passionate pastry team work with Valrhona chocolateries, who in 2020 received a B Corp status, recognising their efforts towards delivering sustainable initiatives. Our chef uniforms are made entirely from recycled plastic bottles by Chef Works, and the team will be participating in bi-annual beach cleans along with ensuring that all our exhausted cooking oil in the hotel is recycled.
All of our restaurants, bars and public spaces have energy efficient lighting and the air conditioning system within our hotel incorporates a heat recovery system allowing us to regulate speed and temperature dependant on the occupancy.
