Fall Fun Starts Here!

Our Guest Services team would be happy to help plan your Whistler adventures.

Here are some of our favourite activities for fall:

1. RENT A BIKE

Head to Village Bikes for convenient bike rentals and explore Whistler’s network of paved valley trails.

2. WHISTLER’S ART GALLERY SCENE...WITH WINE

Explore Whistler's art scene every Friday in October on a Whistler Wine Walk, with two self-guided routes, canapés and wine.

3. BE A VALLEA LUMINA EXPLORER

Legends speak of a long-lost trail that leads to a secret valley. Join a twilight expedition to explore its mysterious beauty. Closes October 11  and reopens December 17 for the winter season.

4. SEE A HISTORICAL TRAIN WRECK

Take a suspension-style footbridge across the wild, turquoise-coloured Cheakamus River to see the site of a 1956 train derailment.

5. VACATION TIME = SPA TIME

Enjoy a signature spa treatment from the gifted therapists at Whistler Day Spa located in our Village Centre hotel. Enjoy the 30% savings for Pan Pacific guests on these 70 min treatments: Mountain Recovery and Soul Therapy. On until November 25.

6. DISCOVER FIRST NATION’S CULTURE

At the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre learn about the Squamish and Lil’wat people, who have lived on this land centuries, and their rich and unique cultures. Hear their stories and see the mountains, rivers, and forests through our eyes.

7. BIRD’S EYE HELI TOUR

Be awed by the extraordinary beauty of Garibaldi Park, and step onto a 12,000- year-old glacier on Rainbow Mountain. Private tours are available with Blackcomb Helicopters.

8. LOST LAKE LOOP

Stroll the easy 6km trail around Lost Lake, relax on the “beach”, and enjoy a very refreshing swim (if you dare!) in mountain-fed waters.

9. BEAR VIEWING SAFARI

See local black bears in their natural habitat on safari with Whistler Photo Safaris, including a guided forest tour.  Tours end October 31 for the season.

10. GO ZIPLINING

Experience Whistler from the treetops on Ziptrek Ecotour’s THE SASQUATCH®, the longest zipline in North America.

11. DO LUNCH AT TABLE NINETEEN LAKESIDE EATERY

Take a short walk or drive to Nicklaus North Golf Course and have a relaxing lunch on the patio overlooking Green Lake or drop in for Happy Hour Mon-Fri 3-5pm.

12. NORDIC INSPIRED

Scandinave Spa offers a traditional Scandinavian bath experience in a peaceful and natural environment. Disconnect and rejuvenate.

13. AXE THROWING

Whether you are a first-timer looking to try axe throwing, an experienced timber sports veteran who wants to practice their skills, or a competitor in our leagues, Forged is your spot!

14. GOLF ONE OF THE TOP 100

Whistler Golf Club is #24 of the Top 100 golf courses in Canada. Arnold Palmer-designed with spectacular snow-capped mountain views and uncompromising course conditions. The last day to play is October 11.

15. EPIC MOUNTAIN BIKING

Whistler has the ultimate gravity-fed downhill biking experience, drawing mountain bikers from across the world. The Bike Park closes October 12, but check Trailforks for the plethora of bike trails outside the Park, ranging from Beginner to Double Black Diamond. The snow doesn’t fall till November usually, so lots of stellar biking time left.

16. MOUNTAIN EXPLORING

The only way up for mountain sightseeing this fall is ATV, Buggy and Jeep tours. Save 15% on Blackcomb tours on Mondays to Fridays with Canadian Wilderness.  Tours available for both beginners/families on wide mountain roads, as well as single track trails and naturally rugged terrain for intermediate and experienced riders.
