Formerly known as National Art Gallery, National Visual Arts Gallery showcases over 2,500 local and foreign works of art by celebrated contemporary artists. The architecture of this gallery is a blend of slate, tinted glass and clean modern lines with traditional Malay design. There are displays of Asian and international art at the gallery. The art gallery is an area where there are many prospects for improvement and exploration of different kinds of art in Malaysia.
