Singapore, 30 May 2014 – Edge commemorates National Day with an extended five and a half hour dining highlight, A Long Long Lunch, comprising heritage lunch and nostalgic afternoon tea presentations. Priced at $50 nett, guests will enjoy an extensive variety of 30 dishes featuring signature mains such as Homemade Laksa, Bak Kut Teh, Nasi Lemak, Fried Carrot Cake and Satay.
In an epicurean tribute to Singapore’s cultural traditions and 49 year history, guests will delight in this authentic experience which also features traditional afternoon tea treats such as Kaya Toast, Portuguese Egg Tarts, Ice Kachang, Mango Pomelo Short Cake and an enhanced selection of fragrant Durian-based desserts.
Available from 12 noon to 5:30pm on 26 July, 2 and 9 August, A Long Long Lunch presents guests with a diverse and engaging dining experience with seven live food theatres showcasing freshly-made delicacies inspired by the rich flavours and cooking techniques from Singapore and the Pacific Rim.
