With fall just around the corner, the Lobby Bar at Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle is offering a warm place to listen to live music and enjoy a cold beer. The first four Tuesdays in October, the hotel is partnering with Washington Beer Blog on fireside beer tastings, featuring selections from Seattle-based breweries from 6 – 8 p.m., with live music from 6 – 9 p.m. and extended happy hour pricing on drinks from 4 – 8 p.m.

Still Afloat: Seattle’s Floating Homes
June 15, 2013-November 3, 2013
This exhibit is designed to shed light on one of Seattle’s most iconic images: the houseboat. Centered on the long-standing floating home community on Seattle’s Lake Union, the exhibit will feature historic photos, oral histories, and architectural diagrams. Visitors will also get the chance to explore a scale model floating home to see how the infrastructure of these homes are adapted to meet the needs of life on the water.

Peru: Kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon

SAM is honored to host a major exhibition of Peruvian art that includes rarely seen sculpture, metalwork, painting and textiles spanning 3,000 years. Visitors will be introduced to the rich heritage of ancient Peru, including superb works of the Mochica, Chimu and Inca cultures
First Thursday Art Walk

First Thursday, in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood, takes place from noon to 8PM on the First Thursday of every month. It is the city's first and largest Art Walk. After nearly three decades First Thursday has become a fixture for art-loving Seattleites.
Earshot Jazz Festival

Elysian Brewery 9th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Fest

Elysian Brewing’s Great Pumpkin Beer Festival started in Seattle back in 2005 with less than 10 beers in total. Nine years later, pumpkin fever is in full force and the Elysian’s 9th Annual GPBF (as it’s now known) will span three days, with one – six hour session each day.
