Hill Street Bar supports the Blue Tree Project

Hill Street Bar is proud to be partnering with Blue Tree Project to raise funds and awareness for the mental health charity throughout the month of May.

To celebrate International Burger Day, the culinary team at Hill Street Bar have created the perfect Pulled Pork Burger. This is no ordinary Pulled Pork Burger as it aims to spark a conversation about mental health.

With every Pulled Pork Burger purchased, AUD3.00 will be donated to Blue Tree Project, a mental health charity that flourished from a grass-roots movement in regional Western Australia. ‘Their mission is to help spark difficult conversations and break down the stigma of mental health, by giving dead trees ‘a blue lease on life’.

‘900+ trees have been painted blue across Australia and other parts of the world, becoming conversation starters and symbols of hope for many. The visual reminders of the blue trees, help individual’s check-in with their loved ones and mates going through a hard time, as well as using it as a way to reflect on self-health’.

Support this great cause by purchasing a Pulled Pork Burger from Hill Street Bar this May.

Together building a mentally healthy future

Blue Tree Project was founded with a mission to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when experiencing mental health concerns. We believe help is never as far away as it feels.

.Something that began out of tragedy now offers a positive way for people to connect and help change the way we talk about mental health.
