The Whistler Film Festival brings together filmmakers, industry leaders and film fans for five days of film premieres, panel discussions, talent programs and special guest appearances. From acclaimed independent films to award-season favourites, WFF celebrates cinematic storytelling while fostering discovery, creativity, and meaningful connections within the film community.

Skiers and riders of all ages are invited to spread Christmas cheer at Whistler Blackcomb in their best Santa or Mrs. Claus attire. The first 100 to arrive at the Whistler Village Gondola dressed in full festive gear will receive a free lift ticket. Tickets are limited, so arrive early!

Held over two days, the Peak to Valley Race, presented by See Ya Later Ranch, is the world’s longest giant slalom race. Teams of four race down Whistler Mountain, covering a vertical drop of 1,443m from Whistler Saddle to Dusty’s in Creekside.

Whistler Cup is the world’s largest ski race for athletes aged 11–16. Sanctioned by FIS, the event brings hundreds of young competitors from around the globe to Whistler Mountain’s Dave Murray National Training Centre, where future ski stars compete for the prestigious Whistler Cup title.

The annual Beem Credit Union Whistler Half Marathon presented by Salomon is one of Canada's most scenic run courses that's immersed in nature. Accessible to all runners, choose from the 21K half marathon, or 32K, 10K and 5K courses, all with inclusive race divisions. Centred around the beautiful trails at Lost Lake Park and culminating at Whistler Olympic Plaza, the event offers seminars, a kids run and athlete celebration. More information here.

The UTMB World Series returns to Canada with 10 km, 25 km, 50 km, and 100 km trail races through Whistler’s forests, alpine lakes, and mountain vistas. Challenge yourself on world-class trails and begin your journey toward the UTMB World Series Finals in Chamonix.

The RBC GranFondo Whistler is a stunning point-to-point cycling journey along the famous Sea to Sky Corridor between Vancouver and Whistler. There are distance options from 55 km to 122 km and all offer beautiful landscapes and a clear, traffic-free passage along the Sea to Sky Highway.

Whistler X Tri combines an open-water swim in Lost Lake with thrilling mountain bike and trail run courses. Set against Whistler’s stunning mountain scenery, this challenging race takes participants along world-class singletrack trails while showcasing the vibrant colours of fall.

UCI MTB World Cup returns to Whistler as the season finale, where the UCI Downhill World Cup overall champions will be crowned. Watch the world’s best downhill riders battle on the purpose-built 1199 trail, promising world-class speed, skill and unforgettable competition.
