The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales (DOS), the Sales Manager (Penang based) /Senior Sales Manager (KL based) will assist the DOSM to increase Corporate/MICE or Leisure client or your segment specialisation(s) through consistent solicitations while establishing trust and rapport with clients to generate and boost revenues for the Hotel.  The Sales Manager services new and existing accounts to ensure repeat business.  This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Your remunerations will include sales target incentive for individual as well as group. Besides, you will be offered a competitive salary and wages and many others.   

Talent Profile

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience within a multinational organisation with proven sales track record.
  • Relevant experience in corporate/MICE/Leisure.

Education:

  • Diploma in any discipline.

Competencies:

  • Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Good influencing skills and the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • An excellent team player who can work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possesses high level of integrity and respect for others.
  • Sound MS office skills.
  • Flexibility to incorporate travel, evening and weekend work into their lifestyle.
  • Strong commitment to produce monthly results.
  • Ability to plan between work life balance.
