Sustainable Hotels in London | Pan Pacific London

Inclusive Hospitality, Lasting Community Impact

Pan Pacific London is Responsible Hospitality Verified by Forbes Travel Guide, an industry-leading sustainability standard for luxury hospitality, and has achieved ECOSmart Platinum status, reflecting our commitment to high standards of environmental stewardship. To further strengthen transparency and accountability across our sustainability journey, we have enrolled in the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification, a globally recognised benchmark for sustainability and excellence within the travel and tourism industry, underpinned by a rigorous and evidence-based framework.

Our approach to sustainability extends beyond environmental responsibility to encompass social impact, inclusion and community engagement. We actively support local communities through partnerships with charities, including initiatives such as Thames river clean-ups and the donation of hotel items, including clothing, linen and towels to homeless hostels across London.

We are equally committed to creating inclusive employment pathways. In partnership with Business Education Partnership (UK) Ltd, we delivered work experience opportunities for 12 local school students this year, nurturing the next generation of hospitality talent. Looking ahead, we are developing a 2026 programme with a local café to support training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Accessibility and inclusion are fundamental to our philosophy of luxury hospitality. Pan Pacific London offers Changing Places facilities for both guests and the wider community, featuring specialised accessible bathrooms with an adult-sized changing bench and hoist to provide dignified and practical support for people with profound disabilities. We further advance inclusive hospitality through our partnership with IncluGroup and the IncluCare accreditation, the first certification enabling luxury hotels to fully welcome guests with both visible and invisible disabilities.

We also invest in the future of our industry by inspiring young people to pursue careers in hospitality. Through the Hospitality Motivator programme, our associates volunteer as trained mentors, sharing their expertise and passion with students. Beyond our hotel walls, we contribute to city-wide safety and wellbeing through our partnership with the Eastern City Business Improvement District, supporting the City Safe Bus located near Liverpool Street Station. Staffed by police officers, a medic and mental health volunteers, this mobile help hub provides medical assistance, information, phone charging facilities, or simply a reassuring presence for those in need.

Restaurants and Bars

Our culinary team sources 95% of ingredients locally within the UK, helping to minimise our carbon footprint. We collaborate with likeminded suppliers, Estate Dairy and Foodspeed are Certified B Corporations, and our butcher, Aubrey Allen, released a sustainability report for 2025.

Our restaurants, bars, and public spaces are fitted with energy-efficient lighting. The hotel's air conditioning system includes a heat recovery mechanism, enabling us to regulate both speed and temperature according to occupancy levels.

Guest Rooms and Suites

Sustainability is at the forefront of our guests’ experience, from eco-friendly in-room amenities including bamboo toothbrushes, wooden razors, corn starch shower caps to Cheeky Panda bamboo toilet paper. InnuScience products, with their natural ingredients, eliminate waste and deliver a sustainable cleaning solution in our guestrooms and bathrooms. Working alongside CleanConscience, all partially used toiletries are repurposed and redistributed for the benefit of those in need. Earth cards inform guests that linen is changed every two days, unless requested otherwise, and complimentary water is provided in recycled glass bottles.

Our guestrooms have energy saving light bulbs, motion sensors along with efficient heating and cooling features and dual flush facilities in the bathroom.

Wellbeing Floor

In our 24hr gym we have invested in accessories and self-powered machines including electrically efficient equipment to reduce energy waste.

We strive to promote the values of clean beauty, sustainable living and educated self-care through carefully selected cosmetic brands.

All Naturalia Sintesi’s products are non-tested on animals, and are paraben-free.
