Visit London’s Iconic Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park

This may be one of London’s most famous festive activities, based in Hyde Park, the largest of the Royal Parks. Running for 6 weeks from the 18th of November to the 2nd of January, immerse yourself in all things festive on Winter Wonderlands’ 15th Anniversary. 

With a variety of stalls and rollercoasters spanning the park, this is a top attraction for all ages. From multiple food stalls selling worldwide cuisine, to classic arcade games, Winter Wonderland keeps Christmas magic alive. This year, enjoy Winter Wonderland Special like the giant wheel that is 70 metres high.

Skate next to Canary Wharf's sparkling view, with the return of their ice rink for 2022 including 12 daily 50-minute sessions. On Wednesday they host live saxophone music and a DJ throughout the evening sessions, along with various events throughout the session. 

Canary Wharf, is just one of plenty festive themed ice-skating rinks in London. Somerset House also features a beautfiul ice-skting courtyard, centered around a 40ft tall Christmas Tree.

There are so many beautiful lights illuminating the streets of London over the festive season. Starting at Leadenhall Market only a 10-minute walk from Pan Pacific London, this light show features a large Christmas tree with colour-changing LEDS, incorporating garlands throughout the hall. 

Continue onto Oxford Street, Bond Street, Carnaby Street and Regents Street (all within 5 minutes walking distance of each other,) to enjoy the variety of different lights, while enjoying some of the most popular streets of London with plenty of shopping opportunities.

Another Festive markey close to Pan Pacific London, is the Christmas by the River at London Brridge. This yearly spectacle has reurned and is been named as one of Londons best markets. With plenty of food, bevrage and shopping choices and only a 10 minute tubeand 15 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station

Southbank and Leicester Square also have beautiful European inspired markets, where you can indulge in a variety of cuisines and a range of gifts.

Watch a film in The Backyard Cinema

 

Londons magical Backyard Cinema, has returned this season, this year they have the theme of an Arctic Voyage. Before your film, follow constellations of twinkling stars that guide you to the Northern Lights and eventually to your seats (a giant plushy beanbag).

Spectate a Gingerbread Masterpiece

Lastly on our top things to do in london over the festive season, is the Gingerbread City. Based in the Museum of Architecture, this mouthwatering attraction returns to London. This year wth 5 differeny miniature cities all featuring diffrent climats for example Tropical and Polar. With over 100 arcghitcehst that have worked on this project its availble to view from Deceber 3rd until 9th January.
