This place is definitely a dessert worshipper’s mecca.  Fabulous spot for a casual afternoon or morning tea, its popularity means it can become a little crowded in the afternoons, however it’s worth it. It‘s best to arrive around midday to secure a table. Speciality of the house, the laksa soup is full, rich and creamy and when combined with the skinless chicken is a sheer delight. Regarded as one of the best ramen houses in Sydney this food lovers delight will transport you straight to Japan. Their house speciality, the spare ribs ramen, is restricted to a limited number per day and well worth a try. The broth is thick, rich and very filling. For those coffee addicts who simply can’t get through the day without their regular morning coffee, this place is the answer. Just a short 5 minute walk from PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, located inside the historic Strand Arcade, offering a classic and sophisticated charm, this tiny, busy cafe is ideal for single origin espressos and lattes .If you fall in love with a particular blend, don’t worry, you can buy the beans to go. Don’t get caught however, be aware that you pay a $0.50 premium to sit in the arcade.

A short 10 minute walk from the hotel, the constant queue at this Sydney café is testament to the fact that it is staffed by people who know coffee. It’s a tiny place with limited bar style seating for 6 – 8 people only, reminiscent of New York coffee bars. Their breakfast menu is delicious and the pastries and sandwiches do not disappoint. The broad selection of coffee is truly an experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who are fast and efficient. Take a few minutes, take a walk and enjoy the experience. Their piccolo shots are the best. Take note; this is a cash only establishment, they do not accept credit cards.
