After two years at ABODE Bistro. Bar, Lucas naturally found his place behind the bar, crafting cocktails inspired by travel and imagination.
Encouraged by his team, he entered the PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts NSW 2025 Cocktail Competition, and with a push of confidence, his winning cocktail now stars at ABODE Bistro. Bar and BAR30 & Bistro.

Isn't Shiso Lovely?
Shiso Lovely was inspired by Lucas’s travels in Japan, where he fell for shiso’s minty, spicy-earthy character.
He crafted a playful summer cocktail with vodka, lychee, Dom Benedictine, lime, and butterfly pea tea soda - vibrant, aromatic, and dangerously easy to sip.
Shiso Lovely pairs perfectly with ABODE’s new menu.
Its bright acidity and herbal notes cut through rich dishes like duck liver parfait, lift seafood like scallops, and refresh herb-forward sides, making it a versatile, thoughtful cocktail.
