Start your day with a cup of coffee at the Trung Nguyen Coffee Shop. It’s to the left of the hotel, and takes just a few minutes to reach. It’s like most coffee shops in Saigon that offers filtered Vietnamese coffee. This store also displays and sells filter coffee brewing equipment, so you can get one of them as a souvenir, and make your own filtered Vietnamese coffee at home.

If you do not have enough time to visit a museum in Saigon, Museum of Military Zone VII is a good choice for you as it’s just right beside the hotel. The small museum covers the history of Vietnam, from the Chinese occupation and the First Indochina War to the Vietnam War and the Cambodian–Vietnamese War. It also comprises an outdoor display of large military equipment, as well as a military museum.

3. Vinh Nghiem Pagoda

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda is the largest Mahayana Buddhist pagoda in Saigon and one of the city's most beautiful tourist attractions. It’s open to visitors and worshippers all year round, but will be very crowded on the 15th of each month, especially in the month of which, where many Buddhists go to pray for luck, happiness, safety, and other blessings.

4. Nguyen Hue Walking Street

Nguyen Hue Walking Street officially began operations in April 2016. On week days, vehicles are allowed to run along Nguyen Hue street, but from 6:00pm to 1:00am on Saturdays and Sundays, all vehicles are banned from entering. While you’re there, don’t miss the water music performances that take place every now and again. Besides that, there are many other activities and shows as well such as skating, and amateur magic performances. Not to mention, it’s home to an abundance of food and clothing stalls.
