Vinnies CEO Sleep Out

We are committed to social responsibility and making a meaningful impact on our community. Our initiatives focus on engagement and support for local causes. 

For four consecutive years, our General Manager has proudly participated in Vinnies CEO Sleep Out to raise awareness about homelessness in Australia. This powerful event raises awareness and vital funds to combat homelessness in Australia. In 2026 alone, our efforts contributed over $14,000 to this cause, helping provide essential services and support to those in need.

Clean Up Australia Day

We are committed to making a positive impact on our environment and community. Each year, we participate in Clean Up Australia Day, coming together to get outdoors, enjoy the sun, and make a real difference in our local community. 

This simple yet meaningful initiative allows us to contribute to a greener Australia while strengthening our team spirit and fostering a sense of unity.

Aboriginal Housing Company & Yenuallowah

We are proud to collaborate with the Aboriginal Housing Company and Yenuallowah, whose work in empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities inspires us to contribute to a brighter, more equitable Australia. 

Through initiatives such as fundraising events, staff volunteering, cultural awareness programs, and in-kind support, we aim to create opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and positive impact for generations to come.

Parramatta Lanes

PARKROYAL Parramatta has proudly taken part in Parramatta Lanes, a vibrant annual festival that transforms the heart of Parramatta into a playground of art, culture, music, and food. This community celebration brings locals and visitors together to experience the city in new and exciting ways.

Through our food booth activations, we share our passion for fresh, seasonal flavours while showcasing the creativity of our culinary team.  By participating each year, we continue our commitment to supporting local initiatives that bring our community together.

Local Artists

Guests are invited to discover the work of celebrated Australian artists, Christopher Hodges and Ada Bird Petyarre, whose pieces can be found throughout the hotel and in guest rooms.

Influenced by the richness of the Australian landscape and culture, their works often embrace bold palettes, organic patterns, and expressive forms that reflect both tradition and contemporary perspectives. 

Together, these artworks create a distinctive rhythm and sense of belonging, offering visitors a window into Australia’s vibrant and diverse art scene.

Minimising Single-Use Plastics

We are passionately committed to eliminating single-use plastics from our guests’ experience and are making significant strides toward this honourable goal.

In our Superior, Deluxe, and Deluxe King Corner Rooms, filtered water taps are installed in the guests bathrooms. This allows guests to enjoy fresh, filtered water at their convenience while actively reducing the need of single-use plastic water bottles during their stay. 

This initiative eliminates approximately 12,000 single-use plastic bottles each month, an impressive total of 143,000 bottles annually.
