Whistler is renowned for the wide variety of events and festivals that take place here. From Village ice skating, the Fire & Ice Show and live music,  to bike races,  yoga, farmer’s markets and kids event,  there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year in Whistler.

The Extended Moment - Fifty Years of Collecting Photography

A celebration of the art of photography from the Canadian Photography Institute of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, this special exhibition explores the development of photography from daguerreotype photographs to digital images, monochrome to saturated colour, while exploring the production of photojournalism, vernacular photographs, and portraiture.

Artist Exhibition: Sqatsza7 Tmicw – Father Land

Sqatsza7 Tmicw – Father Land is the newest artist exhibition in the SLCC's temporary gallery space. It runs from August 13 to February 25 and displays a collection of art pieces showcasing the multi-disciplinary genres of Ed Archie NoiseCat, including limited edition prints, woodcarvings, metalwork glasswork and handcrafted jewellery.

Whistler Turkey Trot

The Whistler Turkey Trot, presented by Smartwool is a young tradition from the long standing non profit society that brings you the annual Whistler Half Marathon. Taking place in Lost Lake Park, the crown jewel of Whistler's park system, this family friendly event offers a 5km distance along some of the best trails Whistler has on offer.

Whistler Writers Festival - Online

The Whistler Writers Festival is going virtual in 2020! The annual fall event celebrating the written word brings authors and attendees together for virtual real-time conversations, live-streaming masterclass workshops, virtual pitching sessions and re-imagined editions of the festival’s marquee events, Literary Cabaret, Saturday Night Gala and Sunday Brunch. While the festival is virtual this year, why not partake from Whistler, where there is plenty of creative inspiration, outdoor space and fresh mountain air.

Cornucopia Whistler

Cornucopia is Whistler’s annual fall festival, made for the epicurious food and drink lover. In 2020, Cornucopia will run a modified program but will continue to celebrate bold tastes and Whistler's world class food and drink scene. Each weekend in November, experiment with your palate and expand your knowledge at drink seminars, paired dinners, and special experiences hosted by Whistler's restaurants and bars. Precautions and modified programming will be in place with guest safety front of mind.

Whistler Film Festival

The Whistler Film Festival welcomes film fans and filmmakers to experience its 20th edition with fresh films, special guests, epic events, innovative industry Summit and talent programs, and time to play in North America’s premiere mountain resort destination.

Whistler Pride and Ski Festival

Don’t miss one of the biggest and best Pride ski weeks in the world. Celebrating it’s 29th year, the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival celebrations kick-off with eight days packed with events including guided ski and snowboard groups, lively après, legendary parties, arts and culture and a welcoming community Pride Parade!
