Whistler Half Marathon

The Whistler Half Marathon, continually described as one of Canada's most scenic runs, offers 5 great distances to choose from: a 21.1 km half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km kids run, and a 30 km. Each gently rolling course offers a great Whistler running experience along a hybrid paved and gravel surface route while taking in the surrounding world famous natural beauty that Whistler is known for. Add to that a great festival atmosphere with live music, kids activities, seminars and much more; and you have yourself a weekend of running that is not to be soon forgotten.

Whistler Farmers' Market

A feast for your senses, the Whistler Farmers' Market features local produce, tasty food, local artisans, live entertainment and family activities along the beautiful Upper Village Stroll between the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and the Blackcomb Daylodge. Markets happen every Sunday until Thanksgiving and every Wednesday throughout the summer with the addition of Saturday markets on June 30, August 4 and October 6.

Helly Hansen Comfortably Numb Trail Running Race

On June 9, 2018 come experience the 23+ km Comfortably Numb course which is an internationally recognized mountain biking route, and it’s even more fun to run! A few climbs, a few descents, a beautiful bridge crossing, numerous sweeping vistas, and almost entirely singletrack. Comfortably Numb is consistently an instant favorite amongst trail runners. Don’t miss out on this classic race!

Tough Mudder

Test your strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie at Whistler Olympic Park, when Tough Mudder returns to the mountains. Tough Mudder is the premier adventure challenge series in the world, where participants tackle 10-12 mile courses with man-made obstacles designed by none other than the British Special Forces.

Tenderfoot Boogie Trail Race

Encounter just about every terrain imaginable on this trail run between Squamish and Whistler. With 50 mile, 50 km , 28 km and 13 km options, the run follows the Sea to Sky Trail and will challenge and reward runners with flat and easy stretches, climbs, descents and stunning views.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will once again play in Whistler this summer bringing classical music to Whistler Olympic Plaza, our beautiful outdoor concert space. Bring a chair or blanket and prepare to be amazed at the sound of a full orchestra playing for free - the perfect addition to July long weekend in the mountains.

Whistler Children's Festival

Mark your calendars as the Whistler Children’s Festival returns for the 35th year. This action packed weekend features two full days of live performances, interactive activities, and lots of hands-on creative workshops for kids and families to enjoy.

Red Bull 400

Warm up your leg muscles for the steepest 400 meter race in the world as Red Bull 400 returns to conquer the ski jumps of Whistler Olympic Park in the Callahan Valley. Testing both speed and endurance, this race challenges runners to 400 meters from the bottom of the ski jump, straight up to the top. Don’t let the simplicity of the concept fool you, runners will push themselves to the limit with this punishing 400m climb up.

Subaru IRONMAN® Canada - Whistler

Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Canada will return to Whistler in conjunction with the Subaru IRONMAN Canada triathlon. Take up the challenge to swim, bike and run through the beautiful lakes, roads and trails of Whistler, British Columbia or cheer on the athletes at all stages and as they make their way to the finish line!

Wanderlust Whistler

Whistler celebrates wellness when yoga and music come together in the mountains for the annual Wanderlust Festival in Canada. Yogis from around the globe will be down-dogging, dancing, dining on organic delicacies and sharing their wisdom in an amazing event across the entire community. Drawing the world's leading yoga teachers, top musical acts and DJs, renowned speakers, top chefs and winemakers, Wanderlust Whistler is an event not to be missed.

Crankworx Whistler

Crankworx is the defining celebration of mountain biking. A supercharged magnet for the world’s best riders and the definitive domestication of dirt in the service of epic endurance, supreme flow, monster air and gravity-fuelled mountain biking. Over ten fearless days in August, the venues at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park will serve as a modern day Colosseum to the world’s best mountain bike athletes. 5 Peaks Trail Running Series

Running over rocks, roots, tree stumps, and logs, up ski hills, hiking trails, through puddles, mud, snow and much more. These courses take people off road and into the hills. The Whistler race will be held in the upper alpine of Blackcomb Mountain. Navigate through some steep climbs, sharp descents and craggy wilderness trails. And through it all, enjoy the tremendous views!

RBC GranFondo Whistler

Ride this epic 122 km route from Vancouver to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway. Enjoy breathtaking views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, with challenging climbs and plenty of downhill sections. Recreational, advanced and elite level cyclists are all welcome - ride at your own pace and arrive to a warm welcome and big post-race celebration in Whistler.

Whistler Village Beer Festival

Beer in the mountains – it just feels right. This year marks the 6th annual Whistler Village Beer Festival, which means even more craft beer celebrations. New to 2018, a SIXTH day of programming has been added to enhance the feature food pairing dinners, unique cask nights, live music, and of course, the incredible two-day Main Event at Olympic Plaza. The Main Event, hosted on Saturday and Sunday will feature over sixty breweries and guests can try over 120 of the best craft beers and ciders BC has to offer, with some nation-wide and international brews will be available as well.
