The museum’s collection of vintage toys is the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia, lovingly curated from over 40 countries, including Singapore, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom. Notable pieces include an extensive Godzilla collection and vintage Astro Boy toys.

Shutterbugs would delight in the quirky nostalgic collection at the Vintage Cameras Museum. The building itself is a bizarre sight—created to look like a camera, it forms the perfect backdrop for Instagrammable Singapore photos. The entrance to the building is even shaped like a camera lens. 

Once you enter the museum, you can get intimate with over 1,000 cameras on display—from a replica of the world’s biggest camera to the latest camera gadget—an 11-gram camera. You will also get to see unique cameras that few knew existed, such as a walking stick camera, pistol camera and pigeon cameras. James Bond, eat your heart out!

Dive into Singapore’s rich performing arts history at the Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery, nestled in the heart of Chinatown. The area the gallery is housed in used to be known for Chinese opera, nanyin music (a genre of music which originated as court music during the Han Dynasty in China), Chinese puppetry, Chinese painting and calligraphy, and tea drinking.
