Ningbo Ocean World

The aquarium has three types of tunnels, 180-degree, 270-degree and spring layer, which provides impressive underwater scenery and features the longest 180-degree panoramic sea sightseeing tunnel in the country. It is also the only aquarium that combines scenery and cultural concept of Wuge Grotto, ancient Egypt, Yuanmingyuan Imperial Garden in the artificial landscape. Qing' an Guildhall

Qing' an guildhall, also known as " Yongdong Tianhou Temple", was constructed in Xianfeng 3rd year (1853), and is a unique building integrating the temple of Queen of Heaven and a guildhall. Strategically located in the southern area of the Yangtze River, it has now been converted into a maritime museum, the first in the country.

Ningbo (Yinzhou) Museum

Ningbo (Yinzhou) Museum displays an impressive range of exhibits for a better understanding of Ningbo's history, art and culture. The building facade was designed by famous architect, Wang Shu, and the film "Caught in the Web" directed by famous director, Chen Kaige, was shot here.

Tiantong Temple

Tiantong Temple was constructed in the Jin Dynasty (300 AD) and locatd on Taibai Mountain 25km east of Ningbo. It is known as the "Buddhist Kingdom in the Southeast" and regarded among the top four "Zen Buddhism Forests" in China. The temple is said to be the ancestral place that inspired the beginnings of the Caodong (Soto) sect of Chan (Zen), which has millions of followers in Japan and worldwide.

Asoka King Temple

King Asoka's temple was constructed in the third year of Taikang in the West Jin Dynasty (282 AD) and is one of the "Five Zen Buddhism mountains of China". With magnificent scale of more than 600 halls, rooms and pavilions covering an area of over 14,000 square metres, the temple is famous for its storage of Buddha's relics and designated as one of the national key temples in the areas of the Han race.
