Featuring an affordable and irresistible á la carte buffet from a halal-certified kitchen, showcasing authentic local flavours, engage your senses with five halal-certified live food stations, as our culinary team brings an epicurean touch to your dining experience! Offering one of the best halal hotel buffets in Singapore, Ginger is also perfect for social events or milestones with private dining rooms.   

The all-day dining restaurant is inspired by the abundance of Singapore’s natural beauty in the cosmopolitan city-state. This is exemplified by timbre flooring, marbled table tops, and languidly-rotating rattan ceiling fans. The stunning ambience of Ginger is brought to life by award-winning Singapore-based Australian designer Emma Maxwell. Natural, raw elements such as timber and stone are lightly accented with nickel and brass but softened by a floral narrative through specially commissioned wallpapers and furniture textiles by fabric designer Kerrie Brown. Guests will be delighted to recognise local flora like the ginger flower, Simpoh Lak, and Freycinetia Javanica artfully woven into layers of detail.

Vincent Aw

Executive Chef at PARKROYAL on Beach Road

With more than 10 years of extensive culinary experience in the hospitality industry that saw him working alongside culinary legends in top-notched hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants, Executive Chef Vincent Aw oversees the Kitchen team across all Food and Beverage functions of PARKROYAL on Beach Road. Under his leadership, Vincent plays a pivotal role in raising the profile of the new and existing dining establishments in the hotel. With Ginger in particular, he has added his flair and creativity to the à la carte buffet and à la carte menu which is heavily influenced by the rich diversity of Singapore’s culinary heritage.

Through his various stints and guidance from respectable industry mentors, he has built a culinary philosophy around respecting and understanding the elements of core ingredients in order to curate authentic flavours and textures, complemented with contemporary presentations. Having participated in multiple culinary competitions and clinched multiple awards throughout his career, he is often featured on cooking shows, magazines and newspaper articles. 

During his leisure time, Vincent enjoys café hopping and visiting new dining establishments to keep himself up to date on market trends.
