ABODE Bistro. Bar welcomes the award-winning Sidewood Estate from the Adelaide Hills for a one-night-only dining experience where estate-crafted wines meet seasonal, housemade creations by Head Chef Josh Askew.
Known for producing superb cool-climate wines that truly reflect the character of the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood Estate is the region’s largest certified sustainable winery committed to quality winemaking with care for the land. Winemaker Darryl Catlin and Sales Manager Matt Murray will be hosting the evening and sharing stories behind the wines and guiding you through the experience.
Chef Josh Askew has curated a bespoke four-course menu designed to complement Sidewood’s finest pours. Expect standout ingredients like duck liver pâté and smoked Parma ham from the Barossa Valley, South Australian truffles, and fresh Kingfish, each chosen to enhance every sip.
With live entertainment setting the tone, your evening begins with roaming canapés and a Sidewood wine on arrival, before settling in for the main dining experience. We'll stop you half way through for a mystery wine challenge where the winner will be taking home a bottle of Sidewood’s best.
