Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, a Restaurants, Bars & Events Guest Relations plays a pivotal role in providing ‘first and memorable contact’ to arriving and departing guests. With a sound knowledge of the products and services of the hotel, associate will through close collaboration with all guests-fronting team, deliver memorable dining experiences which will drive financial excellence.
Responsibilities include set-up of the restaurant’s concierge desk and table assignments for guests are done. Associate is responsible for all matters pertaining to cashier’s duties. Associate is also responsible for conducting table visits and engaging guests in professional and friendly conversations to enquire on guests’ satisfaction and maintaining the database of restaurant with guests’ preferences. Associate is also responsible for liaising with chefs and assist in preparing of menus based on guests’ requests.
- GCE ‘O’ level / Diploma in Hospitality from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution.
- A current guest relations officer in a 5-star hotel or a high-end stand alone restaurant or air crew with a year’s experience.
- Displays good knowledge of food & beverage.
- Outgoing personality with a flair in selling and sustaining an engaging conversation.
