POSITION SUMMARY

The 5-star Pan Pacific Perth is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Full Time Sous Chef to join our Kitchens Department. This key role focuses on coordinating operational services and supervises the food preparation associates. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in co-ordinating all aspects of the operation

  • Ensure the services of the Food Preparation department are delivered

  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and management of associates in Food Preparation

  • Oversee the Hotel’s Food Safety and Hygiene program, HACCP knowledge


TALENT PROFILE

  • Minimum three to four years’ experience in a similar role

  • Management experience

  • 5-star environment experience, in large operations

  • Highly-developed interpersonal, communication skills, good written and spoken English

  • Immaculate personal presentation, suited to a 5-star hotel environment.

  • A passion for food, innovation, dedication and knowledge of current trends
