In the mood for a different type of traditional local pancake known as “Apom” or “Apong”?  Similar to the ones from Apom Balik Station, Ah Guan Apom is slightly different as it is made of egg, flour and desiccated coconut with slices of bananas and corns in a thicker pancake and softer texture. Owned by an elderly man named Ah Guan, this stall has been in business for a whooping five decades.  We think this is a must-try stall, however, it is best to drop by when you are not in a rush as die-hard fans of Uncle Ah Guan’s apoms will gladly wait in a long queue to get their fix. (Tip : If there’s a long queue and you do not have the time to wait, you may opt for Ah Choi Apom who is just a few steps away)
