The Role
The GC Cum Paymaster is responsible for managing payroll operations and providing general cashiering support to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions. This role plays a key part in maintaining payroll integrity, supporting financial controls, and ensuring staff payments are processed efficiently in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Talent Profile
Processing monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions
Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.)
Managing staff payroll queries and resolving discrepancies professionally
Preparing payroll reports, journal entries, and reconciliation for Finance
Supporting general cashiering functions, including cash handling and daily reconciliation
Ensuring proper documentation, filing, and confidentiality of payroll information
Assisting in audits and providing payroll-related documentation when required
Coordinating with HR and Finance teams on employee records and payroll updates
