Dear valued guest,
In the last few months, we have witnessed unprecedented events brought upon by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Our hearts are with those who have been affected by this global crisis. At the Pan Pacific Vancouver, we remain vigilant and steadfast in our commitment to provide every guest with the highest standard of safety and hygiene. We want to assure you that in the face of adversity, your health and safety remain, as always, our top priority.
SAFETY AND HYGIENE
We want to make your experience at our hotel as worry-free and healthy as possible. We have strengthened protective measures which include frequent disinfection of all high-touch areas, sterilization of all chinaware, glassware and cutlery using high temperature washing equipment, placing additional hand sanitizers at the restaurants and lounges, and executing additional cleaning protocols in all rooms and suites prior to and after each guest’s stay.
Based on the expert advice of the World Health Organization, local governments, public health authorities and medical professionals, our hotel teams will continue to implement stringent measures against the spread of COVID-19.
The following measures have been introduced to give you peace of mind during your stay:
“Multiple Day Vacancy Rule” – Your room will be prepared in accordance with the latest guidelines from BC Ministry of Health and kept unoccupied for multiple days prior to your arrival.
“Support of Social Distancing” – Only registered hotel guests and restaurant patrons will be welcomed at this time. Our staff will not enter your room during your stay for housekeeping service. We will arrange for contactless delivery of any additional amenities, if requested.
“Shared Space Maintenance” – All shared spaces are being frequently sanitized and organized for the most efficient distance-friendly traffic.
Our colleagues – essential to providing excellent care and vital in helping to combat the spread of the virus – are guided by enhanced training sessions on hygiene protocols. On a daily basis, our teams are reminded to observe good hygiene practices to reduce the risk of possible transmission of the virus. These preventive actions include washing hands thoroughly with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, staying home if feeling unwell, and avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
In our ongoing commitment to care for our guests and colleagues, we will continue to closely monitor updates and new developments. We are in this together, and we wish for everyone to stay safe and healthy. Your support is always deeply appreciated and when you are ready to return, we will be here to welcome you back. Keep well and stay strong.
