Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2016
(Whistler, BC) Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre was named the best resort in Canada by the Condé Nast Traveler Magazine readers in the 2016 Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards.
As the snow starts to fly in the resort town of Whistler BC, the team at Pan Pacific Whistler hotels are delighted to discover both of the two all-suite Pan Pacific Hotels are in the top ten resorts in Canada as noted in the Condé Nast readers’ poll. Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside has been named number 8 on the list of top Canadian Resorts.
“Being singled out by the knowledgeable readers of Condé Nast Traveler is a great honour. This amazing group of professionals here at our two Whistler hotels are consistently striving to exceed the expectations of our guests. It looks like the team’s efforts are noticed and appreciated.” says Lloyd Daser, General Manager at Pan Pacific Whistler. “Moving up in the rankings from our number 20 spot in last year’s Canadian Resorts category to number one is truly gratifying for everyone associated with our hotels. Many thanks go to the readers who voted for us again this year.”
Daser goes on to say, “We are all pleased to see five Whistler hotels included in the Top Resorts in Canada. Congratulations to our neighbours and friends at Nita Lake Lodge (#3), Westin Resort and Spa (#4), and Fairmont Chateaux Whistler (#10).”
More than 300,000 travelers took part in the 29th annual Readers' Choice Awards survey—yet another new record—submitting millions of ratings and over 75,000 comments to help create a list of winning favorites.
