The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Finance to support the overall financial management of the resort. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance while contributing to the achievement of the resort's financial objectives.

Talent Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
  • Experience with hotel finance systems and ERP software is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day finance and accounting functions.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team.
  • Assist the Director of Finance in strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost management.
