The Role

  • Consistently follow the 10 foot rule and greet all guests in a warm, friendly, courteous and service orientated manner at all times.
  • Always escort guests’ to the lift when an opportunity arises and explain how the key card is used to access their floors.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the safekeeping and handling of the Front Office Cash Float.
  • Develop the desired salesmanship skills to maximize on all up selling initiatives when an opportunity arises to maximize the hotels room revenue and provide our guests with options.
  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient level of service to all internal and external guests in line with the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • All complaints and requests must be addressed and channelled to the relevant departments or department Manager within 5 minutes of receipt.   It is compulsory to clearly write the details of the complaint(s) (WHO, WHEN, WHY, WHAT & HOW) in the log book.
  • Ensure that you are fully competent when operating the OPERA Property Maintenance System. You must obtain certification through the Task Competency Inventory to achieve the desire level of competency. You will be trained and certified on Front Desk Cashiering, Front Desk Check in & Check Out, Basic Reservations Functions and Report Printing after which you are required to check-in guests in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  •  It is compulsory to update all the required fields concerning guest particulars in the registration card and OPERA system accurately and state the method of payment clearly. 

Talent Profile

SPM or Diploma in hospitality management.

1-2 years related working experiences.

Energitic and positive personality.

Passionate in customer service.

Strong communication skills.
