If you have been on a shopping spree and are running out of local currency, you will be glad to know that there are many currency exchange stores along the street of Batu Ferringhi.  The closet location would be Ruhamas Forex Sdn Bhd, located right in front of our resort. If Ruhamas is closed for the day, you can also head over to our reception desk to have your currency exchanged.

Have you forgotten to restock your medication before leaving home? Ferringhi Pharmacy which is just 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk away from the resort. Alternatively, you can also place your prescription order with the pharmacy and have they deliver to your room at PARKROYAL Penang Resort.

As an added service for our guests who require medical attention during their stay, we also have an in-house clinic located on the lower ground floor of our resort premises. A general practitioner will be present on-site only for an hour in the morning and remain available on-call for the rest of the day.  Medical fees incurred from the clinic can be charged directly to your room.  In the case of emergencies that require more extensive medical care, guests can also make your way to the 24-hour emergency room at Penang Adventist Hospital or Gleneagles Medical Centre.

For your convenience, a self-service laundromat with laundry detergent, washing machines and dryers is available within the resort premises, accessible via Tamarind Brasserie. Purchase of tokens for the value of MYR30 per load can be made at the reception. However, if you prefer to have a hassle-free holiday and let us take care of your laundry, simply use the laundry form available in your room.
