The Role
- Follow and adhere to the grooming standards set by the hotel. Respect other colleagues and work as a team.
- Ensures all hotel linens and outlet linens are in perfect condition. Examples: bedsheets, duvet covers, bath towels, bath mats, pillows, napkins, pool towels etc.
- All linens a must to count, packed in recycle bag provided and open the bill before sending it out for washing.
- Check all linens that arrived from outsourced laundry, conduct a thorough count, and update the bill and report to tally the quantity.
- Maintains quality control of all linens;
- b) Clear from any stain
- c) Well-pressed or ironed
- d) All different types of linens are folded correctly
- e) A must to keep neat, organized and place them on racks.
- Return any damaged, misuse, loose, or torn linens to the seamstress located at the Uniform Room any linens which require more attention including mending, fixing and repair.
- To report to the supervisor or manager if found any staff misuse or mistreat the linens.
- Treats all linens with the utmost care, and report any damage before or after washing.
- Assists in regular inventories of all rooms and outlet linens.
- Reports all Lost and Found items to the Lost & Found dept according to the procedures.
Talent Profile
1-2 years working experiences in hospitality industry.
SPM or Diploma qualification.
Strong communication skills.
Energitic and positive personality.
Able to work in a fast pace organization.
