The Role
Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Full-Time Duty Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee Front Office and Duty Manager responsibilities, including managing staff, coordinating operations, and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by inspecting VIP rooms, walking through hotel outlets, assisting operations, and promoting hotel facilities and loyalty programs.
- Manage inventory availability, room allocation, and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Assist with staff management, including appraisals, disciplinary matters, shift rostering, and ensuring seamless operation in our Pacific Club Lounge.
Talent Profile
About You
- Proven experience in a similar role, with strong problem-solving abilities and solution-focused approach.
- Demonstrates leadership by example, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and team performance.
- Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and public holidays; knowledge of Opera PMS is highly desirable.
