The successful candidate will:

• Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with the Executive Pastry chef and culinary team to develop new and innovative pastry offerings
• Crafting exquisite pastries for our seasonal high tea 
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Supervise and train junior pastry chefs, maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs effectively

Ideally you will have:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role
• Relevant qualifications/certificates in Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent), HACCP and local Food Safety Handling & Hygiene
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavors, and presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
