The Role

As the Assistant Manager, F&B Marketing, you will support the Food & Beverage and Marketing Departments in implementation of short, medium and long-term marketing strategies for Food & Beverage division. Your roles and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to the following:-

  • Ensure that the dining experience and restaurant positioning come to life in all the marketing initiatives implemented across multiple platforms globally
  • Work closely Drive and activate all restaurants and venues in collaboration with the F&B division
  • Work closely with the relevant parties for creative development (online and offline) as well as timely delivery of advertisement in accordance with the media plan, using in-house marketing and design resources
  • Work closely with Marketing Department on the marketing activations and releases
  • Managing social media accounts for the restaurants
  • Ensure that the restaurant standards are met as per the brand guidelines
  • Working with the Marketing Department for in-house collaterals and promotional items for the restaurants
  • Work closely with the Director of F&B and Executive Chef on the development of F&B campaign plan, execution and management to ensure feasibility, practicality and alignment with the resort's objectives
  • Conduct weekly F&B marketing status meetings to brief and discuss on progress of jobs on file
  • Liaising with Marketing team for website management
  • Produces daily, weekly and monthly report as required by the Management

Talent Profile

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of similar capacity in a 5 star or luxury hotel/resort environment
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other language is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Hospitality industry standards
  • Computer literacy
  • Creativity and enterprising
  • Possess outgoing personality
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Sound knowledge of various social media platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Facebook Ads is preferred
  • Expertise with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Insights is preferred
  • Excellent writing skills and superior judgement
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
