The Role

The Food and Beverage Manager supports the Director of Food & Beverage in providing leadership and directs the activities of the F&B Department to maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction in order to maximize profits. The F&B Manager is expected to “get in the trenches” with the associates during high volume days, encouraging and working side by side with the team.

  • Ensure all guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality at the restaurants
  • Supports the Director of Food & Beverage in providing clear direction, establish goals and monitor progress to achieve desired results for the F&B Department
  • Works with Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef in planning of F&B promotions
  • Works with the relevant departments in driving the F&B revenue
  • Implement and monitor effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Interview, coach, train, encourage, develop, and evaluate direct reports
  • Ensure that all shifts have the necessary manning coverage
  • Audit processes and procedures to ensure compliance of policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health, food safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Maintain knowledge of all resort facilities, services, and hours of operation
  • Maintain knowledge of entertainment and special events scheduled at the resort
