Sustainable Hotels in London | Pan Pacific London

Working towards a more sustainable future

We at Pan Pacific London are committed to working responsibly and ethically to improve our sustainability and to reduce our impact on the environment. Through this commitment, we strive to help our communities and invite our guests and hotel team alike to join in our efforts. To ensure our contributing efforts are transparent, we have signed up to the EarthCheck Certification Programme, a third-party reporting environmental and social practices. We recognise that we are not 100% a sustainable hotel, but hope that the practices and initiatives that we have and will continue to put in place helps us strive to be a more sustainable hotel in London.

We have the following sustainable practice across areas of the hotel and should you require any clarity hereon, our team would be happy to assist and can be contacted on +44 (0) 20 7118 6888.

Restaurants and Bars

Our culinary team source 95% of ingredients locally within the UK to ensure our carbon footprint is kept to a minimum. Having authentic ingredients in our recipes as not to compromise on flavour is important to us, so we work closely with Nurtured in Norfolk to grow special Asian ingredients including fish mint in the UK. Our passionate pastry team work with Valrhona chocolateries, who are part of the B Corp™ community, recognising their efforts towards delivering sustainable initiatives. The team will be participating in bi-annual beach cleans along with ensuring that all our exhausted cooking oil in the hotel is recycled.

All of our restaurants, bars and public spaces have energy efficient lighting and the air conditioning system within our hotel incorporates a heat recovery system allowing us to regulate speed and temperature dependant on the occupancy.

Guest Rooms and Suites

Sustainability is at the forefront of our guests’ experience, from eco-friendly in-room amenities including bamboo toothbrushes, wooden razors, corn starch shower caps to Cheeky Panda bamboo toilet paper. Diptyque Paris’ recyclable aluminium tubes of body wash, shampoo and conditioner have been developed to reduce plastic without compromising on a luxury experience. InnuScience products, with their natural ingredients, eliminate waste and deliver a sustainable cleaning solution in our guestrooms and bathrooms. Working alongside CleanConscience, all partially used toiletries are repurposed and redistributed for the benefit of those in need. Earth cards inform guests that linen is changed every two days, unless requested otherwise, and complimentary water is provided in recycled glass bottles.

Our guestrooms have energy saving light bulbs, motion sensors along with efficient heating and cooling features and dual flush facilities in the bathroom.

Wellbeing Floor

In our 24hr gym we have invested in accessories and self-powered machines including electrically efficient equipment to reduce energy waste.

We strive to promote the values of clean beauty, sustainable living and educated self-care through carefully selected cosmetic brands.

All Naturalia Sintesi’s products are non-tested on animals, and are paraben-free.
