The Role
- Consistently follow the 10 foot rule and greet all guests in a warm, friendly, courteous and service orientated manner at all times.
- Greet guests as they approach the COLLECTION Lounge and provide them with assistance in seating.
- Handles personalise check-in and check-out for all the Collection and Suites room booked guest.
- Order welcome amenities for COLLECTION and Suites rooms and placed in the room prior to guest arrival with welcome card from Complex Manager or Resident Manager.
- Always escort guests’ to the lift when an opportunity arises and explain how the key card is used to access their floors.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the safekeeping and handling of the Front Office Cash Float.
- Works closely with Food and Beverages team to prepare buffets counter and special dietary request by guest.
- Prepare buffets areas and ensure that all necessary food and beverages items are presented in an appealing manner.
- Take orders for starters, food items and beverages and provide guests with information on complementing drinks.
- Expedite guest’s orders and ensure that they are delivered to their tables within the specified timeliness.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel and lounge features and services. Address any specific concerns regarding services and premises.
- Ascertain that all condiments are made available to guests along with their orders.
- Stock condiments shelves and maintain liaison with procurement officers to ensure prompt delivery of supplies and items.
- Maintain kitchen, buffet and lounge areas in a neat manner by paying close attention to food services, refrigerators and floors.
- Perform follow up duties to ensure continuous guest satisfaction and take orders for additional services.
- Develop the desired salesmanship skills to maximize on all up selling initiatives when an opportunity arises to maximize the hotels room revenue and provide our guests with options.
Talent Profile
A minimum SPM or diploma equivilant.
Atleast 1 - 2 years Front Office work experience.
Good English communication.
Energitic and friendly.
Work well with others.
